The fort’s history is that Mughals won over it only once during its entire period. Here emperors of Mewar stayed during times of threat. The defense has 360 temples in its interiors.

Rabdentse in Sikkim

It was once the capital of Sikkim but now in rubles. However, the ruin is still called the national monument, and the leftover is a part of the Buddhist pilgrimage.

The city offers stunning views of the snow-peaked mountains and deep forests of the area.

Tughlaqabad Fort in New Delhi

Tughlaqabad Fort situated in New Delhi is now transformed into rubble. Ghiyath al-Din Tughluq built it in 1321, but it was later deserted.

Out of 52 gates, 13 still live. There are three tombstones and seven reserves inside the fort. In addition, there are the remains of many rooms, belowground tunnels, palaces, mosques, and halls.

Maluti Temples are a group of 72 temples out of 108 situated in the Maluti Village. The kings of the Baj Basanta era began the construction of the temples in respect of the family deity.

King Basanta wanted to create temples and alternate palaces as he was a religious king.

Vikramshila University in Bihar

The university covered an area of 100 acres and was discovered by Dharmapala, the ruler of the Pala kingdom of Bengal.

The monastery is the home for the Buddhist monks, and the university consists of many distributed structures, including a Tibetan and Hindu temple.

Basgo Fort in Ladakh

The Basgo Fort is situated on the shore of a hill above the Indus River in Ladakh. Basgo is officially one of the 100 threatened heritage destinations globally by none other than UNESCO.

There are three temples devoted to various forms of Buddha, and it is an ideal location to discover the history of the ruins of this place.

Bhangarh Fort in Rajasthan

Back in Rajasthan, I give you the Bhangarh Fort, famous for being a ghastly place, and the entry is restricted after sunset till sunrise.

Martand Sun Temple is dedicated to Surya dev in Anantnag and was constructed by the ruler of Karkota Kingdom in the early 8th century. The temple presents a photographic panorama of the gorgeous Kashmir valley.

The structure is a blend of Gupta, Roman, Gandharan, and Chinese styles. Wow, 4 in 1; that’s something that I don’t even get in my car.

It is a spiritual destination for Jain devotees and is well-known for Shree Ghantakarna Mahavir Temple. People visit here to make knots on a thread in which 108 times Mantras are recited, and after every reading, a bell rings.

Gandikota Fort in Andhra Pradesh

Gandikota is located on the shores of Pennar River and homes some key historical architectures. The fort has garner, a mosque, fortresses, and two gorgeous temples.

The ruins of the location tell about the excellent history of the past.
