The 6 Days Golden Triangle Tour: India’s Best Heritage Experience

The Golden Triangle Tour is the ultimate India Tour Package. If you want the best experience of India’s heritage, and I am telling you about this country’s history of bravery, architecture, rule, art, kings, cuisine, etc., the list can go on and on. Anyway, I recently went on a five-night, six days golden triangle tour, and it was a breathtaking experience that I will never forget for the rest of my life. So today, I will share my experience with you.

DAY 1

On my first day, when I arrived in Delhi, I was warmly welcomed with Indian traditional hospitality by the driver. The polite person dropped me at my hotel from the airport, talking about what I will experience for the next six days. I stayed overnight at the hotel after having a local dinner.

DAY 2

The following day, I had breakfast, and then we went sightseeing, the part I had been waiting for a long time. Allow me to share my experiences.

Red Fort: I have read in school books that the Red Fort was a primary court of addressing for the Mughals. This magnificent structure is now an important heritage site built entirely from sandstone. But, again, I was astonished at its beauty and architecture.

Taj Mahal: This is the place I was waiting to see in Agra, and every inch of the Taj Mahal was worth the wait. My tour guide told me that the white marble tomb is a symbol of love, built by Emperor Shahjahan for his wife. It took 20000 workers and 17 years to complete. So now, my respect for the Taj is greater than before.

DAY 4

On my fourth morning in India, I was given a surprise, an option to go on the Taj Mahal Tour again, and I took my chance. Let me tell you that it looks even more charming in the morning as the sun rays make the white marble shine.

Next, I went to Jaipur, the Pink City of Rajasthan, with a little stopover at Fatehpur Sikri, the capital city of Mughal Emperor Akbar. All of this made my day.

DAY 5

Like every other Indian city, Jaipur has a unique vibe. Driving along the old city, which told me why Jaipur is the Pink City, I reached my hotel from where it was time for sightseeing 4 of its iconic tourist attractions.

Amber Fort: Touring the top of the magnificent fort was a breathtaking experience for me. It was like a slow, swaying adventure. Along the way, I saw the fort’s impressive stairways, designs, arts, and strong walls, no wonder why so many invaders wanted to win over it.

Hawa Mahal: The last architectural wonder of the day was the Hawa Mahal, a structure with 365 windows made only of red and pink sandstone. Looking at this building, which resembles a giant crown of lord Krishna, was a miracle. The inside of the five floors was also a treat, as I learned that it is a structure that keeps warm in winters and cold in summers without any AC or fans; simply outstanding. Before leaving, I took my time to see the bird’s eye view of the city as a bonus.
