Itinerary
- Around 09.00 am, you will be picked up from your preferred location or hotel in Cochin in an auto rickshaw (also known as Tuk Tuk) to enjoy a heritage tour of Fort Cochin & Mattanchery.
- During this tour, you will visit the following places:-

St. Francis Church-
It is the oldest European church in India and originally built in 1503. This church has great historical significance as a mute witness to the European colonial struggle in the subcontinent. The church has a lofty structure with a gabled timber framed roof covered with tiles. A stepped pinnacle is constructed on both sides of the façade, which is very impressive and retains the old world charm.

Mattancherry Palace-
This Portuguese palace is popularly known as the Dutch Palace and very famous for different reasons. It was built and gifted by the Portuguese as a present to the king of Cochin around 1555. The Dutch carried out some extensions and renovations in the palace in 1663, and thereafter it was popularly called Dutch Palace. Today, it is a portrait gallery of the Cochin Rajas and notable for some of the best mythological murals in India, which are in the best traditions of Hindu temple art.

Paradesi (White Jew) Synagogue-
Constructed in 1567, it is one of seven synagogues of the Malabar Yehudan or Yehudan Mappila people or Cochin Jewish community in the Kingdom of Cochin. The synagogue is located in the quarter of Old Cochin known as Jew Town, and is the only one of the seven synagogues in the area still in use. The complex has four buildings. It was built adjacent to the Mattancherry Palace temple.
