DAY 01 ARRIVE COCHIN
Arrive at Cochin. We will then see you there at the airport and you will get a transfer to Fort Cochin. Stay at the hotel will be for two Nights.
After you have relaxed yourself we will enjoy a sunset cruise at the backwaters. Here you will see the Chinese fishing nets.
DAY 02 COCHIN
Today we will visit the sights which will include the Dutch Palace, it is well known for its morals from the Ramayana, the Jewish Synagogue in Mattancherry, and the St Francis' Church which exists in Fort Cochin.
Take a walk at the Jew Street and you will find many antiques, spices and also handlooms before you reach the hotel. In the evening you can enjoy Kathakali, which is a traditional for of dance-drama in Kerala.
DAY 03 COCHIN-ATHIRAPALLY
Morning the drive would commence to Athirapally. This is a land well known for the rivers, forests and also beautiful waterfalls. The Athirapally waterfall which is a major tourist attraction is the largest waterfall situated here in Kerala. Evening enjoy a walk to the famous waterfalls. Over night stay at the resort.
DAY 04 ATHIRAPALLY to VALPARAI
Morning drive will commence and you can go through the very prominent Sholayar and then reach the tea town of Valparai. This place is located almost 3,500 feet above the sea level on the Anamalai mountain ranges. You will then get a stay at the restored plantation bungalow for two nights. As it is located in a working tea estate you would feel the being of the British Raj.
You can take rest and relax the complete day or you can explore the area. Valparai is one prominent wildlife place and at times you will also come across bison's and other endangered lion tailed monkeys moving around your bungalow.
DAY 05 VALPARAI
Complete day you can relax or then can go out to take a look at the tea plantations or can also visit the tea factory.
DAY 06 VALPARAI-PALAGHAT
Morning we can enjoy the drive towards the Western Ghats and can reach the plains of Tamil Nadu. This day we enter into Kerala and overnight stay would be at Tharavadu a traditional Kerala ancestral. In the evening you can well explore the villages, take long walks or then some short cycling trips along some small and winding roads. Taking a look at an unspoilt countryside and other paddy fields will also be a great experience. Visiting the local village temple to take a look at the evening rituals and pooja is also a good idea.
DAY 07 PALGHAT- SULTAN'S BATTERY
Drive would commence to Sultan's Battery which is located in the hill country of Wayanad. On the way you can well visit the elephant stables at Guruvayoor. Stay at the resort in between the coffee plantations, for two nights. When you are relaxing you can enjoy the area and can have a look at the diverse birdlife.
DAY 08 SULTAN'S BATTERY
We could go for a long walk through the coffee plantations and can then visit the famous Edakkal Caves which are almost 5000 years old and can also go at Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary.
DAY 09 SULTAN'S BATTERY- TELLICHERRY
Driving down to the hills of the coastal town of Tellicherry the surroundings are just worth watching. Overnight stay at the colonial home which has a view of the Arabian Sea and this is for 2 nights. You can also visit the local Mopilah home and can enjoy the cuisine there. You can also learn a lot of cookery lessons from the hostess here.
DAY 10 TELLICHERRY
Visit to the local fish market with the host is also one pas time. In the evening you can enjoy a traditional art form of North Kerala which is presented in the nearby temple.
DAY 11 TELLICHERRY – COCHIN - MARARIKULAM
Enjoy train journey to Cochin. Once you reach at Ernakulam Railway Station you will get a transfer to Mararikulam. Stay at the beach resort in mararikulam for two Nights.
DAY 12 MARAIKULAM
At leisure in the day time and can explore the beach if you feel so.
DAY 13 MARAI-COCHIN DEPARTURE
In time you will get a transfer to Cochin International Airport and you can board your return flight.
